Brazil Type VITEM-V Visa

Brazil Type VITEM-V Visa Requirement:

To be eligible for a Type VITEM-V visa the purpose of the trip must be one of the following:

• Provide service to a Brazilian government agency or organization under a contract or an international agreement;
• Employment contract with a corporation or other legal entity based in Brazil;
• Technical assistance services arising from a contract, cooperation agreement, services agreement, or similar instrument signed with a foreign corporation or other legal entity;
• Internship immediately following the conclusion of graduate or post-gradutate studies;
• Crew members and other oil/gas specialists providing services within Brazilian waters;
• Community services and volunteering activities.

1.Valid Passport:
Your signed passport must be valid and with sufficient blank pages for any visa stamps (Note: passport page 22, 23, 24 are not visa pages, and can not be used for visas).  .  The passport's expiration date must be greater than six months from the date of entry for the visa you are applying for. If your passport does not meet the requirements, you must renew your passport or obtain a new one.
Note: You need to send your original passport to obtain the visa.

2.Complete Application:
Download, print, fully complete, and sign two copies of the application form.

3.Photographs:
You must provide two 2"x 2" passport photograph. Machine or home photographs are not acceptable.

4.Proof of Residence:
A notarized copy of applicant's driver licence.

5. Authorization:
Authorization from the Ministry of External Relations, work authorization by Ministry of Labor is required prior to visa application. Community services and volunteering activities are exceptable.

6.Non Criminal Record:
Non-criminal record issued by the local Police Department.

7. Letter From The Employer :
On the letterhead stationery and signed by a senior manager, briefly introducing the applicant and clearly stating the precise nature of the business and activities to be conducted in Brazil.

8.Order Form:
Download, print, fully complete the order form.

9.Payment Methods:
You may pay by personal check, business check or money order, made payable to: Visa Express.

10.Total Fee:
You may pay the total fees with one check, the total fees includes: Consulate Fee, Our Service Fee, Return Mail Fee. Please check the following table for the consulate fee, and service fee.
Our Return Mail Fee is $ 19.00 for Fedex Next Day Service, or $ 7.00 for U.S. Post Office Priority Mail.
Note: U.S Priority mail are not traceable. The normal delivery time for U.S. Post Office Priority Mail is 2-3 business days, but it's not guarnateed by the Post Office.
